Product Features

The Drum Decanting System is a specially designed machine for transferring medium and high-viscosity oils, soaps, or similar raw materials from drums. A fully open circular drum filled with raw material is brought next to the machine's base using a pallet jack. The operator pushes the drum onto the drum platform, ensuring it sits on the platform aligned with the pressing mirror's axis. The machine is activated by the operator pressing the dual-hand safety start button. The silicone-sealed pressing mirror plate is then pressed against the raw material inside the drum by high-pressure hydraulic cylinders. To facilitate the decanting of the drum, a monobloc pump is installed on the pressing mirror for discharging the product. As the pressing mirror is pushed down, the product is fed into the pump inlet from above, while simultaneously being discharged out of the pump. Once the drum is completely emptied, the pressing mirror automatically retracts from the drum. Upon completion of the return stroke, the machine signals the operator, who then removes the empty drum from the platform and places a new filled drum in its place.
